ITINERARY
Discover Peru in 12 days exploring Lima, Paracas, Cusco, Puno, and Arequipa, visiting Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, and the Colca Canyon. With transfers, guides, and assistance, enjoy a worry-free adventure.
DAY 01.- AIRPORT PICK-UP – CITY TOUR
Depending on the time of arrival of your flight, we will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to your hotel in Lima. We recommend a flight that arrives before 10:00 a.m. to make the most of the day. You will have free time to have lunch on your own before the afternoon tour, which will pick you up between 1:45 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. in a group tourist vehicle.
We will start the tour with a panoramic view of the Pucllana Pyramid, an ancient ceremonial center from the 4th century AD. Then, we will visit the Historic Center of Lima, where we will admire Plaza San Martín, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, Lima Cathedral, and more. We will also visit the Banco Central de Reserva Museum, with its collection of pre-Columbian treasures, and the San Francisco Convent, famous for its catacombs. Finally, we will explore contemporary Lima, passing by El Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores, Larcomar, and the Love Park. At the end, you can stay at Larcomar or return to your hotel, arriving between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

DAY 02.- TOUR TO PARACAS, BALLESTAS ISLANDS AND HUACACHINA
Pick-up from your hotel in Lima will be between 4:10 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. to transfer you to the bus agency and then to the tourist vehicle meeting point. Departure to Paracas will be between 5:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., arriving around 9:30 a.m. to start the 2-hour tour of the Ballestas Islands.
At 12:30 p.m., we will continue to Ica, with a stop at a winery where you can learn about the production process of wines and piscos. There will also be time for lunch before heading to the Huacachina Lagoon, where we will visit a local chocolate shop to taste typical sweets. Optionally, you can enjoy an exciting Buggy-Tubular ride and practice sandboarding on the dunes.
In the afternoon, we will begin the return journey, with a stop in Chincha around 6:30 p.m. to taste wines, piscos, and local macerated drinks. At 7:00 p.m., we will continue towards Lima, arriving around 11:00 p.m., where we will drop you off at your hotel.

DAY 03.- TRANSFER FROM LIMA AIRPORT TO CUSCO – CITY TOUR
According to the departure time of your flight, we will pick you up from your hotel approximately 3 hours in advance to transfer you to Lima Airport. The journey usually takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
We recommend choosing a flight that arrives in Cusco before 10:00 a.m. Upon arrival, our team will be waiting for you at the airport parking lot with a sign featuring your name to take you to your hotel. After check-in, we will provide recommendations, coordinate pending matters, and review details of your itinerary.
In the afternoon, between 12:40 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco (on foot if the location permits). We will begin by visiting the Koricancha temple for a guided explanation lasting about one hour. Then, we will explore the main attractions around the city: Sacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. The tour will finish between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., leaving you a few meters from the center of Cusco.

DAY 04.- SACRED VALLEY TOUR AND TRIP TO AGUAS CALIENTES
In the morning, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel to begin the Sacred Valley tour. The first stop will be the archaeological site of Pisac, located 50 minutes from Cusco, where we will explore its impressive terraces and Inca constructions. Then, we will continue to Urubamba for a buffet lunch. Afterward, we will visit Ollantaytambo, where we will ascend to the archaeological site to admire its imposing architecture and panoramic views of the town and river.
After the visit, you will remain in Ollantaytambo and head to the train station on your own to board the service to Aguas Calientes, leaving at 4:36 p.m. and arriving at 6:09 p.m. Upon arrival, the hotel staff will receive you and accompany you to your accommodation. Later, the guide will visit or contact you to coordinate the details of the Machu Picchu visit the next day.

DAY 05.- MACHU PICCHU
As previously coordinated with your guide, you will head to the bus station to board the transport that will take you to Machu Picchu. The journey lasts approximately 30 minutes along a winding road that ascends 400 meters to the Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary, also known as the “Lost City of the Incas.” Upon arrival, we will present the entrance tickets and begin the guided tour of the citadel, lasting approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the chosen circuit. Afterward, you will have time to take photographs and, if desired, request an optional video report.
After the visit, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time to have lunch before boarding your return train to Ollantaytambo (16:12 hs). Upon arrival, you will transfer to a bus to return to Cusco, with an estimated arrival at 8:20 p.m. and drop-off at your hotel.
Important: Train times may vary depending on availability. It is recommended that your hotel in Cusco be central and accessible for pick-up.

DAY 06.- TRAVEL FROM CUSCO TO PUNO – SUN ROUTE
We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at 6:30 a.m. to transfer you to the tourist bus station for the journey to Puno. During this approximately 10-hour trip, you will enjoy breathtaking landscapes and visits to iconic sites such as the Andahuaylillas Chapel, the Wiracocha Temple in Raqchi, the Raya Pass (the road boundary between Cusco and Puno with views of the Chimboya snow-capped peak), and the Pukara Lithic Museum.
Upon arrival at the Puno bus terminal, our team will transfer you to your hotel and provide instructions for the next day. You will have the afternoon and evening free to relax or explore the city on your own.

DAY 07.- TOUR TO UROS AND AMANTANI ISLANDS
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Puno and head to the port to embark on a boat towards the Floating Uros Islands, where we will learn about their history, traditions, and lifestyle of this community that has built its homes on totora reeds in Lake Titicaca. We will have the opportunity to interact with its inhabitants, learn about their construction techniques, and know more about their way of life on these floating islands.
Next, we will continue to Amantaní Island, where a local family will welcome and host us in their home. Upon arrival, we will enjoy a homemade lunch with local products. In the afternoon, we will take a walk to the pre-Inca temples of Pachatata and Pachamama, located at the top of the island, where we will enjoy a panoramic view of the lake and its surroundings. In the evening, we will participate in a community meeting, where we will share special moments with our hosts. To end the day, we will enjoy a typical dinner prepared with local ingredients alongside our host family.

DAY 08.- TOUR TO TAQUILE ISLAND AND RETURN TO PUNO AND TRAVEL TO AREQUIPA
After enjoying a traditional breakfast on Amantaní, we will bid farewell to our host families and board the boat to Taquile Island, known for its impressive handmade textiles, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. Throughout the tour, we will learn more about the customs of the island’s inhabitants, who have preserved their ancestral traditions for generations. We will also explore the island’s trails, enjoying its natural beauty and stunning panoramic views of Lake Titicaca.
We will then head to a local restaurant where we will enjoy a typical lunch, surrounded by the unique landscape of the island. In the afternoon, we will begin the return journey to Puno, arriving around 3:30 p.m., where we will transfer you to your hotel and/or bus terminal, with the suggested departure time of 10:30 p.m. for your overnight bus. The trip lasts about 7 hours, allowing you to rest along the way.

DAY 09.- TRANSFER FROM THE BUS TERMINAL TO YOUR HOTEL IN AREQUIPA AND ROUTE TO SILLAR TOUR
Around 5:00 a.m., we will pick you up at the Cruz del Sur Bus Terminal and take you to your hotel in Arequipa. You will have free time to have breakfast before check-in and can rest and have lunch early.
In the afternoon, around 2:00 p.m., we will begin the Sillar Route Tour. We will visit the Volcanoes Viewpoint with views of Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu, then head to the Añashuayco Quarry, where stonemasons will explain the carving process of sillar. Next, we will take a short walk in the Culebrillas Gorge to see ancient petroglyphs. On the way back, we will pass through the Apachetas, stone mounds used as offerings on the Inca Trail.
Return to Arequipa around 6:00 p.m.

DAY 10.- COLCA CANYON ROUTE
We will depart at 7:00 a.m. to the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve (Pampa Cañahuas), where we will admire Andean landscapes surrounded by snow-capped peaks and volcanoes. Then, in Patahuasi, we will enjoy panoramic views of Misti and Chachani.
Our next stop will be the Tocra Bofedales, home to camels and Andean birds such as flamingos and ducks. We will continue to the Andes Viewpoint (Pata Pampa, 4,900 meters), the highest point of the route.
In Achoma, we will spend time with a local family and participate in agricultural activities, Andean rituals, or traditional festivities. Later, we will relax in the Chacapi hot springs, with the option to do activities like kayaking or ziplining.
In the evening, we will arrive in Chivay, where we can explore the Alameda and the market. To close the day, we will enjoy a dinner with a folklore show.

DAY 11.- COLCA CANYON
After breakfast, we will head to the Cruz del Cóndor, with a brief stop at Yanque to see the main square. Along the way, we will admire agricultural terraces, Andean flora and fauna, and the pre-Hispanic heritage of the Colca Valley.
At the Cruz del Cóndor, we will enjoy a spectacular view of the Colca Canyon and witness the majestic flight of the Andean condor, one of the largest birds in the world.
On the way back, we will visit the Huayra Punko and Antahuilque viewpoints, where we will see pre-Inca agricultural models, enchanted lagoons, and hanging tombs. Then, in Maca, a picturesque Andean village, we will taste a Colca Sour made from sancayo, a cactus fruit.

DAY 12.- TRANSFER FROM HOTEL TO AREQUIPA AIRPORT
As previously coordinated, our team will pick you up from your hotel in Arequipa up to 2.5 hours in advance to ensure a smooth transfer to the airport or bus terminal.
During the journey, you can enjoy the last views of the beautiful White City, with its colonial architecture and imposing volcanoes as the backdrop. If desired, our staff will be happy to provide recommendations for your next destination or answer any additional questions.
Upon arrival at the airport or terminal, we will assist you with your luggage and make sure everything is ready for your departure.
