ITINERARY
Here is the itinerary for this incredible adventure. Impressive places, unique moments, and unforgettable experiences are ahead. Count the days and get ready to enjoy it to the fullest!
DAY 01 – ARRIVAL AND CITY TOUR IN CUSCO
Upon arrival, our transfer will meet you with a sign featuring the INFOCUSCO logo and your name. Depending on your flight time, we will meet you at the airport parking lot and take you to your hotel in Cusco, where we will provide recommendations and your itinerary.
You will have time to settle in, drink some coca tea, and have lunch before the City Tour (12:40 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.). We will visit the KORICANCHA TEMPLE, and by vehicle, we will explore SACSAYHUAMÁN, Q’ENQO, PUKA PUKARA, and TAMBOMACHAY.
We will finish between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., returning to Cusco. Overnight at your hotel.
DAY 02 – SACRED VALLEY AND JOURNEY TO AGUAS CALIENTES
Between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel to visit PISAC and its impressive archaeological site. Then, we will continue to URUBAMBA for a buffet lunch at Don Ángel restaurant (the best in the Sacred Valley).
In the afternoon, we will explore OLLANTAYTAMBO and its imposing Inca complex. Afterward, you will head to the station on your own to catch the train to AGUAS CALIENTES (4:36 p.m. – arrival 6:09 p.m.).
In Aguas Calientes, the hotel transfer will take you to your accommodation. Later, the guide will contact you to coordinate the visit to Machu Picchu. Overnight at your hotel in Aguas Calientes.
DAY 03 – VISIT TO MACHU PICCHU AND RETURN TO CUSCO
As coordinated with your guide, you will head to the bus station to board the bus for a 30-minute ride to the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, we will present the entry tickets and start a 2.5 to 3-hour guided tour, depending on the chosen circuit. After the tour, you can take photos and request an optional video report.
Then, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch before boarding the 4:12 p.m. train to Ollantaytambo. From there, you will continue by bus to Cusco, arriving around 8:20 p.m. with a transfer to your hotel.
IMPORTANT: Train schedules may vary depending on availability.
DAY 04 – AIRPORT TRANSFER
Depending on your flight time and prior coordination, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport. We remind you that, according to airline guidelines, passengers should arrive at least 2 hours in advance for boarding.
