DAY 01 – ARRIVAL AND CITY TOUR IN CUSCO
Upon your arrival in Cusco, our transfer will be waiting for you with a sign featuring the INFOCUSCO logo and your name. Depending on your flight time, we will meet you at the airport parking lot and take you to your selected hotel. There, we will provide detailed information about your itinerary, recommendations for your stay, and resolve any pending balance (in cash, if applicable). Afterward, you will have some free time to settle in, enjoy a coca tea, and rest before your tour.
In the afternoon, between 12:40 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., we will pick you up to begin your City Tour in Cusco. The first stop will be the Koricancha Temple, where you will enjoy a guided explanation about its Inca-Colonial history and architecture. Then, we will travel by vehicle to explore the archaeological sites surrounding the city: Sacsayhuamán, Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay, impressive Inca constructions with great historical and scenic value. Afterward, we will return to Cusco between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., dropping you off near the historic center so you can either continue exploring or rest at your hotel.
DAY 02 – MARAS, MORAY, SALINERAS & TEXTILES
Between 8:30 a.m. and 8:50 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to begin a day full of history and tradition. The first stop will be Chinchero, a charming Andean village where we will learn about the traditional process of textile making, a cultural heritage that remains alive to this day. Then, we will visit Moray, a remarkable archaeological site with circular terraces used by the Incas as an agricultural laboratory. The most impressive feature of this site is the temperature variation between the upper and lower parts, reaching a 15°C difference.
Next, we will head to the Salineras de Maras, located 7 km from Moray. On the way, we will pass through the picturesque village of Maras before arriving at this incredible complex of over 3,000 salt ponds, which have been used since pre-Inca times. You will have the chance to admire the process of extracting the famous Sal de Maras, known for its purity and mineral properties. Finally, we will return to Cusco between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., dropping you off near the main square so you can continue enjoying the city. Overnight at your selected hotel.
DAY 03 – HUMANTAY LAGOON
At 4:30 a.m., we will pick you up at your hotel in our tourist van, where the guide will provide a brief explanation before we begin our journey northeast of Cusco. Along the way, we will pass through several towns until we reach Limatambo, the flowery valley, from where we will ascend to Mollepata. During the drive, we will make a stop at the Markahuasi viewpoint and pass by the historic Mirador estate, which once belonged to former president David Samanez Ocampo. In Mollepata, we will enjoy a delicious breakfast with a panoramic view before continuing on to Soraypampa, the starting point of our hike.
At Soraypampa, the guide will give instructions about hiking at high altitudes. The 1.5-hour ascent will take us to the spectacular Humantay Lagoon, with its turquoise waters surrounded by the Humantay and Salkantay snow-capped mountains. After some time to admire the scenery and take photos, we will return via the same route to Soraypampa, where we will board our vehicle for a satisfying lunch in Mollepata. Finally, we will return to Cusco, arriving between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Overnight at your selected hotel.
DAY 04 – SACRED VALLEY – AGUAS CALIENTES
In the morning, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel and, after gathering the group, begin our adventure to the archaeological center of Pisac. This picturesque district, located 50 minutes from Cusco, will be our first stop, where we will explore its impressive Inca complex and enjoy its panoramic views.
After the visit, we will continue to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch before heading to Ollantaytambo. There, we will ascend to the archaeological center, a climb rewarded with spectacular views of the town and the river, as well as its impressive Inca architecture. After the visit, you will stay in Ollantaytambo until your train departs to Aguas Calientes (approx. **4:36 p.m., arriving at 6:09 p.m.). Upon arrival, the hotel transfer will guide you to your accommodation, and later, the guide will contact you to finalize the details of your visit to Machu Picchu the next day. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.
DAY 05 – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
According to the prior coordination with your guide, you will head to the bus station to board the transportation. For 30 minutes, we will ascend along a winding road to reach an altitude 400 meters higher, arriving at the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, also known as the Lost City of the Incas.
Upon entering, we will present the entry tickets and begin the guided tour of the citadel, lasting approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the chosen circuit. Afterward, your guide will leave you in a spot where you can take photos or request an optional video report. Then, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch before the train departs (2:30 p.m.). Upon arrival in Ollantaytambo, you will take the connecting bus to Cusco, arriving around 6:30 p.m. and finishing the day with a transfer to your selected hotel.
IMPORTANT: Train schedules may vary depending on availability at the time of confirmation.
DAY 06 – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN
Between 4:00 a.m. and 4:40 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel in our tourist transport to begin the journey to Rainbow Mountain. After 2 hours of travel, we will arrive at the restaurant where we will enjoy an energizing breakfast. Then, we will head to the Llaqto community parking lot, the starting point of our hike.
Our guide will provide instructions and recommendations before we embark on the 1.5-hour hike to Vinicunca (5036 m.s.n.m.). Along the way, we will see llamas and alpacas herded by locals in colorful outfits, crossing ravines surrounded by the snow-capped mountains of Ausangate and Wiñayrity, considered protective deities in the Andean worldview. Upon reaching the summit (10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.), the guide will explain the geography, ecosystem, and formation of the mountain’s colors. Then, we will have free time to capture the best photos of the landscape.
We will descend to the parking lot to board the transport back. We will have lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Cusco, arriving between 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

DAY 07 – AIRPORT TRANSFER
Depending on your flight time and prior coordination, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the airport. We remind you that, according to airline guidelines, passengers should arrive at least 2 hours before boarding.
